The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:
* man-db-2.7.5-2
man-db is an implementation of the standard Unix documentation system
accessed using the man command. It uses a Berkeley DB database in place of
the traditional flat-text whatis databases.
This release includes a conditional perpetual postinstall script. In order
to benefit from it, administrators must first run mandb to create the initial
cache, a step which can take tens of minutes or more. Once created, the
cache will be updated with each run of the Cygwin Setup installer, which
should only take seconds.
