When I run 'xlaunch' I ask to run a remote program on my Linux host, specifically xterm. When the xterm window opens there is no command line prompt just the blank xterm screen. What am I missing? Unfortunately, when X11 is installed it does not automatically install many of the necessary components. After searching through the Xorg stuff I found the missing components.
