Hey I actually figured it out, it was a bad doctype syntax error.
So no need to answer my question!
On the otherhand, DOES anybody know about where I can find a SGML/docBook,
validator?????

Yes, I should definitely post such things on docbook-tools-announce, I know.
Most recent versions:
- DSSSL style sheets: version 1.64
Norm is currently developping 1.67, but 1.64 is said to be stable, so I
didn't jump in directly into the latest version
- docbook-utils version 0.6.8,
I've stopped temporaarily applying all the patches I've been submitted by
many of you lately. The reason is to allow Mark Galassi to clean up the
docbook-tools without seeing them changing every day ;-). So if you don't see
your patch in, don't get angry, it's normal.
- minor improvements in the DTDs and jadetex
The new attempts to package the XSL style sheets and the XML/XSLT engine will
not be committed yet.
