Hi!

I do have a question here about <mediaobject>s.

The example in the docbook book, gives multiple formats for one image as
<mediaobject>
<imageobject><imagedata ... format="gif"></imageobject>
<imageobject><imagedata ... format="eps"></imageobject>
<textobject>...</textobject>
</mediaobject>

Now, I'm wondering how does the processing system know which and how many
images to include? (Ok, the html stylesheets probably know about gif/jpeg,
and TeX will prefer eps ;), but still there could be a theoretical app
that knows both.)

A processing system is required to include at most one
image. Under no circumstances do the processing expectations
allow a system to render more than one alternative.
