What you want is RefEntry. It was designed specifically for this purpose.

Hello,

I need to translate a RFC, and have to give it the nroff look & feel.
I just paged through the book and thought "Reference" might help, but
it's not, or is it?

Can it be done with DocBook at all?

p.s. please cc me as I just get the digest

TIA,
