No, Tim, it's your responsibility to do the "make -f Makefile.cvs" _before_
you do the tarballs.
Do it in a _copy_ of the CVS tree, because it removes files ;-)
Final users do
./configure
make
make install
as usually.
We need a bit of tuning during the change of maintainer ;-)
