Configuring/building eCos with:

    $ ecosconfig new linux
    $ ecosconfig tree
    $ make

There has been no response to my call for ownership of this issue and it only
appears to affect the synthetic target built with very old toolchains. Marking
as non-blocking for eCos 3.0.
