Summary: remote debugging of pc target via GDB on serial
Product: eCos
Version: unknown
Platform: pc (i386 PC target)
OS/Version: HostOS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: high
Component: Debugging
AssignedTo: gary@mlbassoc.com
ReportedBy: sureshkumar.rajana@cmcltd.com

Our applicaton is ported to ecos environment. We are able to download image on
to target using ethernet. This target is communicated with external entity via
one of its serial port.As expected the target should receive a response against
the query sent to external entity. After downloading the image, target should
talk to externel entity. In this scenario, some times target is able to talk
with external entity and some times it will not talk to external entity.
It looks like after downloading the image on target and while running target
may get blocked. We don't know what is causing this problem. Could anybody
respond to my request.
Thanks & Regards,
Suresh.
