Has the 3.0 version been built for a 64bit version of Linux. I am trying to
install this on 64 bit Fedora 14. I already have it running on my old Fedora 9
32 bit machine. The install.tcl doesn't work is there anything that describes
how to build from source and what the dependancies are?

I am not aware of anyone who has built configtool on 64-bit Linux. The
pre-built 32-bit binary should work OK on 64-bit systems if you install the
necessary compatibility libraries. I suggest that you try the 110209 snapshot
build:

Please raise a separate bug report for the issue with ecos-install.tcl on
Fedora 14 64-bit and include any error messages you observe. Thank you.

thanks John, took me a little while to find and load all the 32bit libraries
and dependencies, But this is so much easier with yum than endless hours
trawling the 
internet. Just thought I would let you know I have the configtool running and
built redboot for my board, haven't downloaded it to check it runs but it
compiled without any errors. So 64 bit linux looks pretty good.
