I'm trying to configure drivers for an opencores.org 16550
UART to EB40a when I ran into the following problem:

io/serial seems to assume that there is only one
type of serial ports in the system, e.g. only
one module can define CYGDAT_IO_SERIAL_DEVICE_HEADER.

The discussion below has some helpful pointers:

http://sources.redhat.com/ml/ecos-discuss/2003-09/msg00199.html

Surely eCos supports both AT91 and 16550 serial drivers
at the same time?

Øyvind
