I built/installed gcc v3.0.1, and now get "warning: no newline at end of
file" on many files. We've added a newline at the ends of all offending
files we've created, but we're still running into this on many of the
eCOS files. E.g.,

V360EPC.h:106:6: warning: no newline at end of file
PD6832.h:72:6: warning: no newline at end of file
CMA120Registers.h:158:6: warning: no newline at end of file
ATA.h:91:6: warning: no newline at end of file

We've actually changed two things. First, we upgraded to gcc v3.0.1 from
gcc v2.95.2. This seems to be when the errors started occurring. Second,
we've installed eCos from the current sources, rather than v1.3.1.

Is this problem a compiler problem, or a compiler "feature"? Do the eCos
files need to be changed to accommodate this?

I'm running under the latest Cygwin on Windows 2000. I've been working
with this for a whole day and a half, so may not understand everything I
should...

Thank you.

Gary
