I would like to use the "ping" in redboot. But I don't know what I need to add 
in the configuration tools. Please help me!! Thanks!!

Nothing special is required.  If your RedBoot has a working
network setup, simply do something like this.
  RedBoot> ping -h 192.168.1.101
