All,
I am trying to load redboot binaries on this
board. Board currently has Angel Monitor.
COM1 of the PC is connected to SER portA of the
target board.
I start with invoking arm-elf-gdb edboot_RAM.elf
under cygwin and get the (gdb) prompt.
(gdb)
On this prompt I type:
(gdb) tar rdi s=/dev/ttyS0

Response I get is:
 Could not open device "s=/dev/ttyS0"

However, if I do ls -l, it shows the device is
there under /dev/ttyS0
crw-rw-rw .........
Is there some initialization or something else
that needs to be done to make this device work?
Thanks,
B
