[ECOS] Problem using GDB to debug IXP425 target with BDI2000 JTAG

Hi All,

I am facing a problem trying to debug multi-threaded
applications with GDB using the BDI2000 JTAG while
connecting to my IXDP425 based target.

I get a SIGTRAP in this code in context.S -

FUNC_START_ARM(hal_thread_load_context, r2)
         .
         .
         .
        bx      lr
#else
        movs    pc,lr      // also restores saved PSR
#endif

     at movs pc,lr. I can see that both pc and lr are
valid.

I saw some messages in past with GDB and
multi-threading on ARM targets, is that issue still
around or is it fixed ? Any suggestions will be of
great help.

Also note that this instruction can (and does) fiddle with
the address space.  This means that the MMU may need to be
set up properly for the instructions at 'pc'/'lr' to work.

Have you looked at the MMU state to verify this?

That discussion has no relevance to your problem.
