Once again, thanks to everybody for their help.
I have revisited my SDRAM init routine, found a
couple bugs...and now with burst enabled the chip
select, cpu does not crash when the MMU is turned on.
However when I hit a break point or hit control-c,
I get:
0x49f48 <hal_delay_us+72>: I!I!I!fnmadd.
f31,f31,f31,f31
83 asm volatile("mfdec %0;" :
"=r"(new_dec) : );
Any idea what the I!I!Ifnmadd. F31..etc?
Has anybody else run into this?
I am compiling with the 860 flag and the flag
for soft floating point.
I can break on hal_delay and it gets hit again
and again.
I can step through hal_delay.
I can diassemble hal_delay before the MMU is turned
on and it is fine.
As always, thanks a lot,
I really appreciate the help.
-Mike
