 Hi all ,

I have now the redboot entry in the grub which goes to the redboot. I
want to take a file hello which prints hello from the disk. I have run
the file in redboot using floppy. it was ok . but when i gave the
command

      "load -m disk hda2:/boot/hello "

the redboot prompt came and i was not able to type another command there
, ie go .

I have put the file hello in the /boot ,/ . Can any one figure out
the problem .

Another thing is , I have FC3 and it has ext3 filesystem. Is it one
of the problem. As redboot works on ext2 filesystem.

Main thing. when I give the command disks it is showing as
        hda1 : Unknown
        hda2 : Linux
        hda3 : Unkown

only hda2 that is the /boot is been shown as Linux and all are unknown .
What will be the problem. I put this in another pc also . It is also
showing the same .

      Thanks
          Pai

Hi,

I have a EB55 basead board without flash memory. One year ago I built a
redboot image with ECOS 2.0, using the EB55 template and .ecm file. It
runs OK so far.

Recentely (1 month ago) I've downloaded the CVS version and since
yesterday I have been trying to generate a new redboot image. I am using
the EB55 template and .ecm file. It compiles OK and boots on my board
showing the messages (sorry, I forgot to remove the FLASH drive in this
attempt):

    Platform: Atmel AT91/EB55 (ARM7TDMI)
    Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 Red Hat, Inc.

    RAM: 0x02000000-0x02040000, [0x02006a50-0x02040000] available
RedBoot> +FLASH: driver init failed: Driver does not support device

RedBoot(tm) bootstrap and debug environment [ROM]
    Non-certified release, version UNKNOWN - built 13:32:44, Aug 12 2005

    Platform: Atmel AT91/EB55 (ARM7TDMI)
    Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 Red Hat, Inc.

    RAM: 0x02000000-0x02040000, [0x02006a50-0x02040000] available
    RedBoot>

After this messages the console does not respond any command. I can't
figure out what is happening. I built the redboot with ECOS 2.0 again
and it is OK.

Thank you very much.
