[ECOS] rand() function

[ECOS] rand() function

Iam running an ecos code with multiple threads with the following options:

Thread safe I/O streams  	disabled
Random number generation 	True
Per-thread random seed   	True
Support for per-thread data	True

With these options my rand() function doesn't seem to work? Is there any
change in configuration needed? 
Can anybody help me out?

Which version of eCos and in what way does it fail?
