I need help for these questions:

1. How is possible to build redboot ?

2. Is it possible to use redboot as bootloader for linux 2.4.x ?
or it is intended only for ecos ?

Read the RedBoot user's guide.

For embedded targets yes, although you should be more specific which one.
But not for the i386, as Linux expects a BIOS.
