I've been monitoring the discussions for some time and
have reviewed the extant documentation yet I've not seen
any suggestion that the Morotola 68000 et al. CPU has
been successfully ported to. Does anyone know whether
a successful port of ECOS to the 68000 has been accomplished?

Thanks!

Do you really mean the 68000, or the 68302? I think there is some fairly
substantial difference between the port for these parts.

(Just trying to reconcile this in my mind! :)

Hi Frederic

I have made a port to my M68331 based hardware. The M68331
is very similar to the M68332, but the M68302 differs a lot
(timer for eCos clock generation, serial interface,...).
My port is not yet contributed to RedHat (perhaps I will do
this later - some cleanup are necessary to that code).

Best regards,
Joerg
