Hello all,
We are trying to build a packet filtering firewall for a i386 pc target.
What TCP/IP Stack is recommended ??
Because I read somewhere that the FreeBSD stack is not fully Ok.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
BTW :
In the sources there are two folders "tcpip" and "bsd_tcpip"
Which of these corresponds to OpenBSD and which one
corresponds to FreeBSD, because we would be putting our own
hooks there.

As "elf" says, source code would be more helpful. But one thing to check is
that you are using the sources from anon CVS. A number of reliability
issues have been fixed since the original net EPK.

Do you want to post your source code?
My intuition is that you have either memory exhaustion or memory
corruption.

Hi
I use stack TCP/IP on MPC860. I do tests of stack TCP/IP and send much of
packets TCp and UDP to created servers(in eCos). The stack stopps working
after (about) 2 houres of test and I must reset all.
Who can help me ?

Hai all,
i got some doubts while working on tcp/ip.
1. Where do i get material/documentation for complete tcp/ip stack?
2. Here i am using the tcp/ip developed by redhat for eCos.
How much resources it will take .
regards
reddy
