[ECOS] FLASH access from user program

I would like to do functions similar to "fis delete" and "fis create"
from an eCos user program.

How can I get access to the FLASH?
Are there system calls for this, or do I have to move a lot of RedBoot
code into my program?

Or are there other possibilities?

All input is welcome.

Hi, and thank you for the link.

This is almost what I am looking for. There is also an virtual vector
called CYGNUM_CALL_IF_FLASH_FIS_OP which seems to be the right one.

It takes a little time to figure out the parameters, but I will try it.

AFAIK you can oly read FIS this way. If you want to modify flash 
contents you have to use the flash API (<cyg/io/flash.h>).
