Hi All,
We are just starting to use eCOS for our eval. board. We wanted to
use the Flash for storing the eCOS application images. For the same,
wanted to know about the Filesystem support for Flash on eCOS.? Can
anybody give some pointers on the same.

Regards
-venkat

Look at the "FLASH Image System" component of RedBoot

Please keep replies on the list so that all may benefit - private
email support is available only under contract.

Yes, using the Virtual Vector interfaces eCos applications can
access FIS images.

That said, for anything more complicated than [very] simple access,
I would suggest using JFFS2 which is a full-featured file system
that can be used by both eCos programs and RedBoot [and Linux as
well]
