Hello
I am trying to run the examples that come with eCos on a PowerPC Simulator. I have built the eCos kernel for a Power PC Simulator target and then compiled the examples. The examples are compiled successfully but when I run them uisng gdb, I don't get the desired output. Instead, I get some error.
Can anyone help me on this. Why is this happening?
Thanks in advance.
dranne

eCos is targeted to a particular configuration of the simulator, so
you need to provide the correct arguments when starting the simulator.
The command line given in the documentation seems a little shorter
than I recall. The following line comes from the file used by configtool
to run tests. It probably has more chance of working.
target sim -o '/#address-cells 1' -o '/openprom/init/register/pc 0x100' -o '/iobus@0xf0000000/reg 0xf0000000 0x01000000' -o '/iobus/pal@0xf0001000/reg 0xf0001000 32'

Hi all,
I have modified the fat IDE disk driver for LBA48 and Interrupts and
DMA. It is a little messy right now, but works fine on x86 Intel. If anyone
is interested I will send them a copy of it.
