Hi,

I am new to ECOS; am baiscally evaluating it for Redboot to boot a Linux on
my MIPS board. Was wondering why use another OS as ECOS for
booting Linux; why not use a miniature version of Linux itself. Using
ECOS means studying and understanding the design of one more OS which I
am not sure how much time it will take. Have any of u folks tried using=
a micro version of Linux to boot Linux? What advantages does ECOS
provide?

Thanks in advance

Raghav
