I want to have specs for 3COM NIC. I read somewhere that I need to sign a
non-disclosure agreement for getting that. Can somebody tell me, what is
procedure for that? Whom should I contact?

Regards
Mohanlal

This is not an eCos issue.

Try 3com's tech support!

A non-disclosure agreement is a legal document that you and some
other party sign (bind to). The purpose is to allow sharing of
information between the parties, with the proviso that the information
is not released to third parties except by the owner of that
information. Companies often require this before allowing access
to important information, certainly for items that are not public.

In your case, you'd need to be talking with 3Com. If you don't have
a contact there, try starting with whomever sold you the hardware.

Perhaps a slightly easier approach would be to study the Linux or BSD
drivers for the particular device. If its the 3c905 series NIC's then BSD
has a fairly decent driver (xl) for that card, it may be worth porting it.

I know I would certainly welcome a driver for that particular chip (its
actually based on a Broadcom chip) but haven't had the time to write one.
:-(
