Hi,
The ecos supported hardware does not list MPC85xx variant. Is
somebody working on this ?
Can some body kindly confirm if the below steps are "enough" to get
"Redboot" working on MPC85xx variant ?
1. Is MPC8260 the nearest base to start work ? This is a PQ-II core
and MPC85xx is PQ-III core.
2. If so, the HAL layer - arch, variant and platform needs to be
completely re-looked.
3. New drivers for the serial and TSEC to be developed
4. Is there any need to update the "Redboot" code itself ?
It would be helpful to know the impact of MMU - "always ON" in MPC85xx
variant. Does this warrant that the ecos kernel be updated?
