hi,
i have a doubt. Why is necessary a flash driver on Excalibur board??. I thought
the EBI into the stripe translate AHB transactions to flash transactions.

The EBI only allows you to access the flash as a memory device. If you
want to reprogram it, or erase it, then you must submit commands to
it. This is what the flash driver does.
