Hi all:
I am trying to build eCOS configuration with TCP/IP support for ARME7T. I
encountered 1 unresolved conflict.
Template: ARME7T
Type: default
package added: common ethernet support, networking.
when I try to save the configuration the conflict comes out:
****************************************************************************
********************************************************
Item Conflict Property
CYGPKG_NET Unsatisfied Requires
CYGBLD_ISO_BSDTYPES_HEADER ==" <sys/bsdtypts.h>"
Proposed solution:
Item Value
CYGBLD_ISO_BSDTYPES_HEADER Enabled, <sys/bsdtypes.h>
****************************************************************************
********************************************************
then I click continue to solve the problem and try to save the
configuration. but I still be told there is one conflict and do I want to
save anyway? And during building process lots of error will occur. Can't
the conflict be resolved automatically by the eCOS configuration tools? Or I
should resolve the problem by myself?
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
There was a problem with the original Configtool whereby constraints weren't always satisfied properly; please try either the updated config tool v2 at:
ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/ecos/ct2/configtool-2.08-setup.exe
or this zipfile containing an updated config tool v1 and ecosconfig CLUI binaries here:
ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/ecos/anoncvs/ct-update-011025.zip
Please install the latter over your existing Configtool v1 files.
Regards,
Julian

Start from the 'net' template instead.
