I am pleased to announce a ROM filesystem implementation for eCos.
Hopefully this should further ease the porting of POSIX-style
applications to eCos, allowing fixed configuration information to be
accessed using the fileio interface.
A program to build ROMFS images is provided which can produce images for
either big-endian or little endian targets, and which should work on any
host.
Available as a .epk package from http://www.3glab.org/developer/ecos/
Additionally, there is a touch screen driver for the Intel Assabet board
available from the same URL.
