I've not seen this on Fedora 7, nor is this code that I am familiar with but
something wonky seems to be going on as the AssertionFailedError does not seem
to be providing what assert failed and why. Normally I'd expect to see something
like:

junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: expected:<2> but was:<3>
        at FooTest.testBarTest(FooTest.java)
