configuration without vs. with offloading enabled. See

Namely by the commit r12-135-gbd7ebe9da745a62184052dd1b15f4dd10fbdc9f4 – which
also explains the background. (In between was
r12-130-g5a26ba75de623f75fb44cddc2a9c982d31c96213, which did not help.)
