Can you provide more info?
E.g. try to run the https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=107815#c5
program and attach here what it prints, uncomment the
// std::cout << u << ' ' << std::string_view (str1, ptr1) << '\n';
line at least to see which test it is (if also the max() or some other one)?
