FWIW, I'm getting the same errors with gcc-13 on arm-vx7r2, but not on other
vx7r2 targets.  Some debugging showed that basic_format_args gets read from the
module as __as_base, for reasons yet to be determined.

I've bisected the fail, that also occurred on arm-eabi, and that led me to the
second patch for bug 112580.  I'm thus marking this as a dupe.
