Between 20130705 (r200711) and 20130712 (r200922) there occured a new testsuite
failure
FAIL: gcc.target/i386/pr55342.c scan-assembler-not notb
on both Solaris/x86 and Linux/x86_64, but only for the 32-bit multilib. I
suppose
this failure existed as long as the testcase exists.

I see the same issue on i686-pc-linux-gnu.
The simple solution would be to change the test case:
The notb instruction would go away if -O3 is used instead of -O2.

Between 20130906 (r202327) and 20130913 (r202562), the problem vanished.
