            Bug ID: 97458
           Summary: C++ parsing fails when calling specialized template
                    method inside lambda
           Product: gcc
           Version: 8.3.0
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: c++
          Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
          Reporter: gabriel_machado at live dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 49385
  --> https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=49385&action=edit
Minimal example

Minimal example:

template<class S>
struct A {
    template<class T> void fn();
    struct B { void init(A *p); };
};

template<class S>
void A<S>::B::init(A *p) {
    [p](){ p->fn<int>(); }; // BUG
    // [p](){ p->A::fn<int>(); }; // OK
    // [=](){ p->fn<int>(); }; // OK
}

int main(){}

Command: g++ gcc-bug.cpp
Output:

gcc-bug.cpp: In lambda function:
gcc-bug.cpp:13:18: error: expected primary-expression before ‘int’
     [p](){ p->fn<int>(); }; // BUG
                  ^~~
gcc-bug.cpp:13:18: error: expected ‘;’ before ‘int’
     [p](){ p->fn<int>(); }; // BUG
                  ^~~
                  ;

Command: g++ -v
Output:

An easier work around is:
[p](){ p->template fn<int>(); };

Confirmed.
