Hi -

I am about to upgrade gcc from 3.2.2 to 3.4.3. The 3.2.2 install was
built to use the native Solaris assembler and linker (Solaris 9);
building 3.4.3 is an opportunity to switch to binutils.

Can anyone give reasons (preferably from experience) one should or
should not configure gcc to use binutils instead of the native Solaris
tools?

Thanks
