Dear helper,

In which GNU compiler's stage the number of the target machine is set?Is
it in the machine description code files or in others files?

I have loked at one of the .md files (for MIPS processor) and also the c
header file. But I did not figure out exactly the machine registers
definition.

My problem is that, I want to port the GNU CC compiler to generate an
assembly whith/for more than the 32 machine registers (64 registers for
examples).

Thanks for any hints,

Ben,
