Subject: newbie: lex/yacc library

Hello, my lex and yacc binaries are installed, but I'm having no luck
with linking to libraries, as neither libl.so nor liby.so exist in
/usr/lib (or anywhere in the system, for that matter). Therefore the
command line '-ll' is bringing me an error (as is '-lfl', even though my
flex library does exist).
Any help appreciated! email replies please....
