Title: Where can I find info on using the "configure" script
Hello,
I need to compile some libraries (into shared objects... . .so's).  Where can I find information on how to use the
"configure script" to do this. I don't know much about the configure script ...I've been writing my own makefiles.
I'd prefer an online information source since I'm in a hurry ...but if a good publication is available with a comprehensive
discussion of the use of the configure script, please let me know.
Thanks,
Patrick Connolly
