Hi Gerhard,

The current gcc snapshot includes support for 68HC11.  You can get instructions on how to download it at:

http://gcc.gnu.org/cvs.html

Also upcoming release gcc-3.0 will include the port, but it may take a few month before it gets actually released.  If you would like to download the current snapshot of gcc-3.0, do

cvs -z 9 co -rgcc-3_0-branch gcc

instead of doing

cvs -z 9 co gcc

Wher can I buy or licence or download such a compiler?

I searched the GNU site, but could not find such software.

I am using the assembler/BDM interface from PE-Micro,
that works fine. But I could not get the C-compiler from
Imagecraft going, not even to say "Hello world".

I appreciate good tips!

Gerhard
