   I wonder whether EGCS supports -finstrument-functions and
__attribute__ ((no_instrument_function)) or not.
   If it does, could you please tell me which version is the first version.

The option was added here:

	Function entry/exit profiling instrumentation:

I haven't checked completely, but I believe that it was not in any of
the egcs releases, but it was in the 2.95 release.
