Hello ,
When I build gcc 2.95
I get following error after 2 hours When I execute make bootstrap-lean
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols
I have compiled the Binutils 2.7 but
ld is not geting compiled .
./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20
checking target system type... hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20
checking build system type... hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... cc
checking whether we are using GNU C... no
checking for a BSD compatible install... /admdns/binutils-2.7/install.sh -c
checking how to run the C preprocessor... cc -E
checking for string.h... yes
checking for strings.h... yes
checking for stdlib.h... yes
checking for unistd.h... yes
checking for sbrk... yes
checking for dirent.h that defines DIR... yes
checking for -ldir... no
checking whether free must be declared... no
*** ld does not support target hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20
*** see ld/configure.tgt for supported targets
How can I go about it ?

Why don't you try a newer release of binutils, then?
