Greetings,

I was at http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/gcc-3.4/ and it's not clear to
me exactly what I need to do, to download gcc3.4.0 for a Sun Solaris
machine. Is there someone out there that can give me some guidance?
The mirror site was not very informative(
http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html ).

First, if you don't already have a compiler, pickup a binary specific
to your OS and architecture. I believe www.sunfreeware.com
    distributes pre-compiled gcc binaries.

The FSF and its mirrors only distribute source tarballs. For source
    tarballs, see gcc.gnu.org/releases.html .
