Reading property information from compressed jar files fails at runtime.


gnu getopt for java loads properties at run time.  When the properties are contained in a compressed jar file, the program aborts with "java.util.MissingResourceException: can't load bundle"

 Well, I did CVS update, expecting to get the patch.  Now libgcj won't
 compile.  It looks like a bunch of java files associated with the beans
 support are not in the CVS tree.

 What options did you give "cvs update"?
 You probably need "cvs update -d".
