 So we have a serious problem. There shouldn't be such a thing as a
 `too big' input file and certainly not when the file is only 1200
 lines.
 
 So, did you try with something newer than 3.0 (like a recent
 snapshot?) The problem might have already been fixed.
 
 I would appreciate if you could isolate a test case (something I can't
 do because I don't have all the code Stimu depends on.)
 
 You mentionned yesterday that adding one more ctor made things
 crash. Did you just add the ctor featuring the final local before you
 saw things go sour?

 BTW, do you also try to build your application compiling it from
 sources?
 
 The attached zip archive contains only two files (Stimu.{class,java})
 and I can't build any of them because of the dependencies Stimu has on
 pth.stimu.util.
 
 I would advise that you try with something newer than 3.0. If you
 still have problems building it, try to gradually go back to the
 latest version that worked, that'll give us hints on what upsets the
 compiler and help us extract a stand-alone test case.
