 Hi

 Many Thanks for your swift answer. May I ask if it is possible for you to
 test this with the 2.95.3 release also? I am not sure that my 3.0 version
 is correctly compiled and installed onto my system, which have 2.95.3 on
 it. If it does not fail, I have to investigate my system all over again
 before contacting Suse.

 Regards
 Oddvard

 PS. Happy new year :-)

 Synopsis: Fstream error using the -malign-double compiler flag

 State-Changed-When: Wed Jan  2 20:13:42 2002
 State-Changed-Why:
     I reduced your testcase to Test.cpp, which I have attached
     to this PR. I tried compiling it gcc 3.0.3 with the following:
     g++ -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/lib -Wno-non-template-friend -W -ansi
 -march=pentiumpro -malign-double -mpreferred-stack-boundary=8 -g Test.cpp

     and did not have any problems.
     If the version of gcc that comes with SUSE is buggy, you
     should contact SUSE.
