I can confirm that gcc version 3.1 20020117 (experimental) no longer crashes.

When compiling the attached file with -O the cc1 process eats all memory (512MB RAM+1GB swap) until it it killed by the kernel.
When compiling with -da it's connect.c.03.jump that grows obviously without limit.
This does not happen with gcc version 3.1 20020113 (experimental) on hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00.
