Linux 2.4.16
>Description:
Hi,
it seems to me that the attached source file shouldn't
compile, because the referenced method call is in a different
namespace.
I've posted the snippet on the mailinglist and all replies to
the posting came to the conclusion that this must be a bug in gcc.

Synopsis: namespace handling error across inheritance
State-Changed-From-To: open->closed
State-Changed-By: nathan
State-Changed-When: Tue Feb 12 11:52:11 2002
State-Changed-Why:
not a bug.
the 'base' part of 'base::foo' is looked up according to
the rules of [3.4.1]/8. We look in the scope of derived::foo
then the scope of derived, then the scope of ns::base. In
ns:base we find base, via the name injection rule of
[9]/2.
So either ns::base::foo, or base::foo is acceptable.
