It is as follows:

I think I have problem with Java frontend installation of GCC-3.2

    Jeff Sturm ported the interpreter to the Sparc.
    I believe this problem will be fixed in gcc 3.3.

 FYI: the bytecode interpreter hasn't yet been ported to the sparc.
