gentoo linux on PPC.

compiling ddd-3.3.1 fails as shown below. this is 100% reproducible.

c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I./.. -isystem /usr/X11R6/include    -DNDEBUG -O2  -W -Wall -Wno-deprecated -mminimal-toc -pipe -mcpu=7400 -maltivec -mabi=altivec -mpowerpc-gfxopt -fsigned-char  -trigraphs  -c logplayer.C
